tire size

I ordered a set of ultra 20inch wheels for my truck and was wondering what tire size would fit these rims and keep the speedo correct without recalibrating.

What is the width of the wheel you bought? If it's 9"-10" most would suggets a 295/40/20. I run that size in a Kumho Supra 712. Just slightly taller than stock. Here's a link that let's you try different sizes. http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

Any pics of the new wheels?
Jeff

Click on the photo galleries link on the left hand menu. Start your own gallery and upload pics. Or your can email them to me and I'll post them. I don't believe anybody makes a 275/40/20. Closest tire is a 275/45/20 Goodyear Eagle GTII that comes stock on the Harley F150's. Tire rack sells them for $139. They would be just a little shorter than the stock 295/45/18's. Overall diameter would be roughly 27.7" vs. 28.5" For a 9.5" wheel though you might want to consider the 295/40/20. You'll get roughly the same wide footprint as the stock Goodyears (depending on tire brand). I bought my Kumho 295/40/20's for $220 a piece. A lot of people run the Goodyear Eagle HP Ultra Plus for $163 at Tire Rack. And they're a supporting Vendor. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...rk=1&do=Search
