The intake tube fits very well, and looks awesome. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it.

Big issue is the lack of flex compared to the stock rubber tube. Makes you use some form of filter kit. I am still working on a better setup than just a conical K&N filter. Putting in a Moroso radiator expansion tank to free up some room, then I am going to build an air box that will still let the filter rise with the torque of the engine.

The pic was when I first put the tube on, and had to use the stock box top with the K&N panel zip-tied to it:

We had many customers asking if we here @ JLP were going to make 1 for our Ram Air kit..due to the current 1 on the market dosn't fit right. So we have decided to make 1 for those who have our JLP Ram Air kits.it will be a direct fit to our Kit.We hope to have this available in 2 weeks....JL

Our tubes fir great. Due to the rigidity of the composite material, there is not much room for error in fitment. Some of the aftermarket throttle bodies are not the exact same size as the oe, so there may be some light shaving to do on them. The maf has a lip on it that must be removed so there is a flat clamping surface.

All oe colors are available and look great.

Ok, original question was answered. There appears to be some additional backlash from an earlier thread, so I am going to repost the same info I posted there.

Ok, let's nip this thing in the bud right now.

1) Doug is a moderator, but Doug is also entitled to his opinion. Not everything he types necessarily reflects an official view of F150online so it should not always be taken that way.

2) Nobody is being accused of this, but if a vendor, Supporting or otherwise, uses these forums to intentionally solicit business away from Supporting Vendors, especially if replying to an inquiry posed to the other Supporting Vendor and not directly to them, they will not receive an invoice or opportunity to continue as a Supporting Vendor for this site. I find that practice sleazy and unprofessional.

2a) I am NOT soliciting evidence of wrongdoing by posting item #2.

3) If there are conflict between the vendors, settle them offline. This forum is not the place for these matters, simple as that.

That is the OFFICIAL F150online (i.e. Steve) view on the subject.

If you want to start a new thread on the original thread topic, please go ahead. But, this thread will be closed for obvious reasons.
