my friend at work just bought a red ws6 used with 36k and when we left work i asked him if he wanted to race, so we go find a deserted street and did two runs. first race had a *****ty launch and he ate me alive, seconds race i hung with him until 3rd gear, then he started slowly walking away, all in all his is pretty fast but i thought it was a good race considering mine is mostly stock and his is lightly modded. hes running 3 inch pipes with an offroad cat pipe and probably a chip (to get rid of the error codes related to no cats)...looks like i got beat, i cant wait till i build my motor with a 6 pounder and nitrous, then i race him again.

oh yeah at the end of the second race when he let off smoke blew out of one of his pipes, it smelt like oil. i wondered what it was, a guy once told me that ls1's tend to eat a little oil, but im not sure if that what it was

my friends new ws6 just had to have the rings replaced with only about 12k miles on it...........

 

my friend just bought a 35th annv. WS6. we went to the track yesterday and he ran a 12.9 almost completley stock(street tires). i think his only mod was a lid. he had 2200 miles
