I had a quick truck in 2001 with a diablo 1/2 firm line mod valve from JL. I was running high 7's for the 1/8th and had lots of fun on the street. My tranny was in what I consider to be good condition @ 15K miles when I decided to get a built tranny from FT.

Don't take this the wrong way. I probably would have gotten a FT valve body anyway.

Hate to say it but I think you could probably find there have also been a few problem FT accumulators. I had a line mod and liked it and for reasons changed to a FT acc. The FT is a harder hitter at WOT. I'm not downing Greg's stuff. I LOVE the FT acc, but I remember when all that you could get was the line mod and boy it was great then. Lots o people have 'em and have no problem. But for sure, I would not even think of pulling my FT accumulator to go back to a line mod. One is good, the other is better. That's all. Either will work fine but the FT is more fun. And btw, Greg stands behind his work. Great man to deal with. If by chance something IS wrong, he will get it right
