. . . how did you do it? What parts did you use? Do you have any photos?
Thanks in advance.

Ive done it on a Cobra Tim. You need the modified alumn hat, hd hose and the inlet duct scoops. You could fab your own, though it will look kind of ghetto or you can see what these guys can do for you

This is the kit i was running on my Cobra.

Had my eye on that site a while ago. Looks like it should fit better than the Allstar spindle ducts I bought, which must be for 12" brakes.

I have 14" Brembos. How big are the Cobra brakes?

When I finally get around to it I'm going to be trying to modify the stock dust shields to use for the brake ducting.

I've seen pics for a few mustang kits that look like they can be converted (like the ones **** posted), but the kits look like they blast one side of the rotor with air more then getting the air in the middle of the rotor.

Yes! I have read that the airstream is best directed right down the center of the cooling slot. Which is why the Allstar spindle ducts looked good-they at least wrap around the leading edge of the rotor. But since they are for 12" rotors, the wrap-around part has to be removed.

I am also interested in the other end--what have people used to neck down the 5" foglight opening to a 3" duct size?

Cobra brakes are 13"

I converted to monster 15" Willwoods and had no problem adapting them over to the hat. Those were real brakes and didnt see much benefit to cooling them when running on Thunderhill or Buttonwillow. The Stock cobra brakes with upgrades porter pads and steel braided lines, with the cooling kit made a big difference though.

As far as the air shooting the middle of the rotor, i too believe its off by about 17 degrees. You could easily modify them to fit on the L and probably fix the aiming of the air with some work as well. At least its a starting point.
