I'm his insurance agent and I'm telling you right now to leave him alone and stop bothering him.

LMAO The insurance people love to see me pull up in my truck and hand them the check. I am only 19. I think every two years they alt to have to repaint your truck for free. If i you have not had any collisions.

tokstad, it may take awhile. If you think about, you built what you wanted but, it probably is the hardest Ford truck to sell. Your market potential is tiny. 85% of the Fords sold are Super or Crew cabs. Those not needing extra cabspace may be looking for an 8 foot bed. The flareside regular cab is a great truck as a Lightning but, yours has the six. As you can see the market for your truck is small and to top it off, Dealers are starving and that makes it difficult for the used private party sales.

If I was you I'd go bold playing up the Lightning similarities. Your most likely customer will be a kid that will go for a 'Lightning' without the motor.

As for a 16K price, find out what the loan value of your truck is. If its 10 or 11K, you need a kid with 5 or 6 grand in his pocket or parents that love him that much.

Good Luck.

SOLD!!!!

I finally got rid of the truck. What a sad day I loved that truck, oh well goodbye sport truck hello minivan When it rains it pours I agreed on 15.3K with a guy then 3 other guys said they would by it if he backed out.

Moral of the story... Don't make a replica unless you're sure you plan on keeping it cuz you'll never see a penny back. 23K invested 4/01 8.3K lost 3/03
