I live about 10 miles from the shop....I drove it there, left it idling outside, they pulled it in shut it down, and hooked everything up. That took about 20 minutes, so oddly enough, the truck was very close to normal operating temp, and that was the strongest pull. The second pull was done immediately after the first, and you can see the power dropoff, and the last pull was done a 1/2 hour later... Ambient air temp was 28deg f, barometer was 30.06, and humidity was 50%.

Didn't they have a large cooling fan blowing on the front to cool it down before they made the first pull?

Also, unless the dyno is outside, the ambient temp inside the shop probably wasn't 28 degf, especially with the truck running...

Yes, they had the big a$$ fan blowing on the front of the truck...They also had the overhead door open the whole time, so it was pretty cold in the room...

Jim's Cobra did beat the numbers that you have above...I would post them, but that is up to Jim to do that, not me...He may not want other people to know until he is done tuning the car...But like I said, it was IMPRESSIVE...

I forgot to ask this earlier. Did you do a 'battery disconnect' before each pull?

Btw, Masterloggie and me are going to South Georgia Monday to dyno both trucks. I'm still trying to get in the 400/500 club.

drivetrain loss

I figure on a very heavy truck with a huge automatic the loss would be at least 19-20%. 14 is pretty low for even a stick car. Maybe I am wrong.

Stop by the Trembly Point Pub on Trembly Point road. You take Styles to Lower Road back behind the airport. Make a left on Tremble, down about 1 1/2 miles on left.
Nice football crowd on weekends w/food
