Just Dynoe'd Today.....

Well I just got back from Crazy Horse Racing in South Amboy today and here are the results:

First pull - 415.6 max hp/530.3 max torque
Second pull(hot) - 400.7 hp/498.7 tq
Third pull(1/2 hour cool down) - 408.9 hp/534.9 tq

I thought there would be a little more hp to the rear wheels, but I am happy with it. Jim from JDM was there, and he was impressed with the numbers for the combination that I have and suggested that the next mod be the exhaust, because those numbers are coming through the stock exhaust.
The A/F's averaged in the mid 11's, and I am real happy about that.

very nice numbers:thumbsup:

Iam headed up Jims way in an 1/2 hr
Jim's dyno isn't up yet?

mrinaldi Jan 15, 2003 12:20 PM

No, not yet, that is why I had Crazy Horse do it...$100 for the three pulls with the A/F's

I think no correction, we were at sea level, I could see Raritan Bay from their shop.

So does it say "Actual" on the dyno graphs.

That is all I have....Just messing around with some numbers, using 14% as a loss through the drivetrain, The motor is making 473hp and 609lb/ft torque at the flywheel. If that is correct, that sounds great to me...That magical 500hp might just be an exhaust away....

I think most people use 11-12% for our beasts. To get technical I think Greg (factory tech) measured it at 11.2%.

I think they are pretty good numbers. Mine is getting done on Saturday (Street side only) and we have basically the same combination. Some place in Bound Brook is doing mine because Crazy Horse was booked.

Once I get the full lengths on, I'll have it on the dyno again to see a direct comparison (Just like Superfords did).

No....It says Max Power, and Max Torque....The sides of the graph say STD Horsepower, and STD Torque...
