My Xterra is a 4x4 SUV. It's not a race car and I never said it was fast. My point is they're not some ricer civic that is slow either. I'm giving the L credit for being a very fast truck but some of you are so narrow minded and criticize everything else. Grow up!!

sorry if im foward here but, i started the thread, and im out of town, and been in the hotel bar for 5 hours, but, i did say muscle trucks, and not many car companies can say this, i drive this truck for the same reason im out if town, field service, 300+ miles a week, michigan weather, snow, rain and what ever, 360 stock hp, chip, filter, soon exhaust and pulley, pull a 21 foot baja to the lake and back, and still, on F1's, and S#%&&y driving pull a 13.4. in the 1320. im not putting down other trucks or SUV's, i like a lot of them, but, for the giggle factor the L is the shizzit....

The list was "top 5 MUSCLE trucks". Muscle means you got lots of power. The Nissans don't have a supercharger to compete with other fast trucks, they have a supercharger so the truck has enough power to move. In case you haven't noticed, 210hp is not exactly "muscle" power, and you have already upped the boost just to run 15.5s.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not bashing your truck or the Nissans, they just don't belong in that list. It's like saying that a 73 T-bird with a 429 (5000lb car) is a musclecar because the Torino had a 429 (3500lb car) and was considered a muscle car. The T-bird had it because it took that much power to move it .

 

If u guys want to see a good use for a dakota R/T look in my sig for my pic gallery!!!!! Check out that RT!!!!!! HEHEHEHEHE If u guys want to see what the finshed product is supposed to look like I will take a pic of the renderings and post them... if everyone wants to see. It is gonna look pretty badass!!!! other than that I wouldnt use one for anything else cause there slow as hell!!! I know cause I own one!!!!!

 

15.5 would have been respectable for 1957, maybe a close race with a Studebaker Truck

I'm not on here to defend and compare the Xterra/Frontier to the L because there isn't any. But I will say 15.5 for a 4x4 isn't bad considering the displacement is small with a small M62 blower. I'm not taking anything away from the L but for you guys with this ego I have news for you. Your base 5.4 is only pushing 260 hp which is quite a bit less than a NA Chevy or Dodge. Let's throw an aftermarket S/C or turbo on one of those and see if you keep blowing your mouth. I'm not here to offend everyone just the idiots with this arrogant and childish attitude. Just because the L is fastest from the factory doesn't make it the best truck out there. I'm not criticizing the truck just some of the owners.

Its all good, I'm halfway happy with where I am right now, i kinda spent more money on looks than speed, its the baddest lookin truck around, and has a bit of go to...dodge has some things up their sleeve, ford wont be the king for long, and if they think that the new 500 hp l is gonna get the job done they're wrong, it has the power of the srt ram but the l is heavier...so much for that..

and i'm not jealous of the supercharger, i would rather have a fast N/A truck than a blown one
