Factory Boost Question

Factory Boost Question

Is the boost limited, or is 10psi the max boost the supercharger can run??

Stock yes

Put a chip and pulley and you can get up to 18 or so lbs of boost


This is what I run for boost.

This is what I run for boost.
18lb's on the Works is kinda different than our stock eaton... Don is a lucky man...

On the stock blower, which has been on since september 4th

I still get 17psi

The boost is only limited by the pulley size. There is no blowoff valve like on a turbo.

Boost is just air backed up in the plenum with nowhere to go. Install hi-flow heads and exhaust and the boost will drop, while to airflow and HP will go up.

Looking at it another way, put a 1/2" exhaust on the L and the boost will go way up.
