DL- Let's just book some rooms at the Ramada. By the time we divide it all up it's really not going to cost that much a piece anyways. Especially if 3-4 people say in each room. We need to make some kinda of reservations quick because last year we almost didn't get a room!

I called the hotel and spoke with Maria, the Sales Manager. She said PFA & BigD got a discount that was available for a few rooms over the 800#. This is what she said, She said they got lucky and there wasn't anymore rooms available for the price they got. I know it sounds like Bull*****, but this is what she said.

IF you can get better rates by calling their 800# (national #), then go for it, I'll try to book that way also.

She said the rate I posted is what she has to offer and that's it. So if you guys want to go somewhere else and stay, let me know where we are going to stay.
so is everyone for sure staying at this hotel or a diffrent one???
let me know!!!!

Anybody ever stay at the Best Western? I've heard it is not as good as the Ramada Inn? Is this true??

We all liked the Ramada Inn last year, we'll probably just stay there. I've made my reservations.

Thanks

Got this from NLOC form JL..

I just thought i would let eveyone know tha i'll be staying @ the 4 point sheraton...This a *NEW* Hotel directly across the street from the ramada. The rate per night is $75.00 a night with a king size bed.they said this is promotional rate their running. The hotel is only 2 months old... here's the # 1-618-622-9500.......look forward to seeing everyone again... JLP

The New Sheraton sounds better to me..It's up to you guys, the Ramada Inn rate is good.

The new Hotel is real close to the Ramada Inn, So I'm swapping to the Sheraton.

I called and made reservations at the new Sheraton. I also called and cancelled at the Ramada Inn. Don't forget to get a Cancellation # from Ramada to keep for your records.

I talked to the Front Desk clerk at the Sheraton, Got the name of the Sales Manager to call about getting a reduced rate below $75.00. I know, I didn't do to good at the Ramada Inn according to PFA, so you can wait and see what rates I can get us, or make your best deal, yourself.

Thanks JL..

OK,

Here's the deal at the "New" Sheraton Hotel.

We get a Double or King room for $70.00 each night we stay plus 15% off daily, on food and drinks at the hotel.

So we get "Brand New" rooms and 15% off our meals at the new hotel. Cheaper than the Ramada for rooms and we still get a discount on food and beverages.

We have 20 rooms reserved at this rate and we can probably get another 10 for a total of 30 rooms if we need them, So tell everyone to make reservations ASAP.

Call the Hotel at 618-622-9500 starting Sunday Feb. 2 to make reservations and mention "WFC6" to get a reduced rate. I reserved the rooms from May 14th thru May 19 th at this rate. Let them know how many days you plan on staying. Let them know if you want Smoking or Non-Smoking.

Stay wherever you like, I'm going to try the new hotel.

The 68.00 a night PFA got comes with prepaying 6 weeks before you show up and other restrictions. We can cancel these rooms 24 hrs before we show up, If we have to...

See you guys there...

later,
DL

Thanks JL,

Waiting to see how much I get back on my taxes. It may be time for me to go to the next level, with no NOS..
