If Porsche made the Lightning, . . .

. . . it would look something like this:

Just got my wheels, Brembos, and stainless lines installed. 8 hours for the Brembo install. Feel like I got eat by a Grizzly and sh*t off a cliff, but daammmnn I'm happy with the results.

One of the wheels got damaged in shipping, so I will have to wait to hear whether the Tire Rack will cross-ship before I go for a test drive (they may want the tire to be virgin to take it back).

My goal is to make the L look like a truck Porsche would build. Have I hit the mark?

How much were the Brembo brakes? Did you notice a big difference?

They usually sell for about $4K, but I got them used (in perfect condition) for $2K on eBay.

Have not had a chance to drive them yet. Most people report better pedal pressure and feel, but the real benefit will be resistance to fade.

If you can lock your brakes, then they are good enough for a single stop--the tires are the limiting factor. So, even with 14" rotors (versus stock 12's), I don't expect shorter stopping distances. But try that about 4 times from 100 with the stock brakes and see how much pedal you have left.

Wow looks great!

And great looking rims too! They don't look like ghetto cruiser material like most of the aftermarket jobbies I see on here.

The wheels are 20X9.5, 1/2" under minimum rim width for the Dunlop 295/40-20's. The tread profile is definitely more rounded than the F1's, but that may just be the way the tire is designed. The measuring rim width is 10".

Right now I have a 1/2 drop (Hotchkis springs) I am going another inch lower all the way around.
