Cool PSP now has interchangable lower pulleys

PSP is pleased to announce that we now have the interchangeable lower pulleys, made by the great folks at Metco. We have them for both the Lightnings and the 03 Cobras.

The kits are available with either one, or two pulley rings, in 2, 4, and 6 lb sizes.

A single pulley kit is $239.99 with the tools.

The dual pulley kit is $331.50 with the tools, your choice of 2 pulley sizes.

Additional pulley rings are $105 each.

We also have the matching belts for $30 each, for both the Lightning and HD truck, just let us know what you need when you call.

For the 03 Cobra setups, give us a call for pricing.

Mark,

I think the delay on the chip for the HD can only mean that there
are several areas that may be different for that PCM v.s. the
Lightning one. Rather than just slam any old program on a chip
and install it, I would much rather the vendors test the things
that they change. I say this especially after meeting Mike
at NMRA in Bowling Green. He is one cool d00d when it
comes to figuring out the programs for these vehicles.

One of the reasons that he won't release new AutoLogic chips
is because he may see something on the chip that he doesn't
understand the use of. So when you finally get a chip, you don't
have to worry about unknowns. I am much more comfortable
running the new 2002 Auto-Logic chip because of Mike's attention
to detail and safety. I had one of the very first AutoLogic
chips for the 2002, and it is a great addition. The fact that
I can switch on the fly is pretty important to me, also.

Be patient, my friend, great things come to they that wait!!

Cliff

Sal,
Do you have a picture of the setup?

This is not a flame I just do not understand. Please bare with me here .I have never used a non caged pulley or had one in my hand. Only seen in pictures.
I thought that they were already kinda interchangeable.3 screws and you could change it.
Maybe a picture would make more sense to me.
Again, this is NOT a flame.
Could a person w/o a cage please explain to me.

If guys are posting this is a good thing and you developed this then I am sure it is easier then before.just a little confused.

I thought the cobra didn't have the room for a larger lower pulley?

The Metco 03 Cobra setup comes with a new aluminum bracket that relocates the idler pulley out farther. The lower is a nice setup because you can leave the stock 3.30 upper on, and have an even larger lower, so that you have even more belt surface area.

I was wondering the same exact thing. I've seen the non-caged pulleys before and I was always under the impression that they were very easy to change.

The only thing I saw about this that made sense to me is that for $331.50 you get 2 pulleys, which if you bought them seperately they would be much more.

Sal - can you elaberate a little more for us caged guys???
