Smile SVT Lightning Super Cab

Real 1993 SVT Lightning SuperCab:

I wonder if Full Effect made a second Gen like that?

Yup, and you can tell it's a '93 because of the horrible paint job Look nice though... and needs some air in his tires.

Well I am new to this forum......

So am I to assume Brian is the resident critic? It will probably be at the show in Orlando looking for a new owner and/or on ebay.

I had a 93 also-red-and I can stand by Mr. Baskin on that. Nastiest paint I ever had, as bad as my red 69 340 Dart GT, if you didn't wax it once a month it looked like crap. He may not be the resident critic but he has one-black btw, so he might be at least familiar.
Aren't we all critics here?
And yes, I remember reading a few years ago that at least one company not related to Ford or SVT would extend the Lightning.

Super Cab L over at NLOC has one too. It is this grabber blue color. He had the frame lengthened or something. It is bad azz. Been in many magazines.

Resident critic, hey I've been called worse

I own a Black '93, and know first hand the effects of non-clearcoat paint. My post was not to put you down, it was an observation that '93 Lightnings had horrible paint jobs, and it was interesting that the Lightning conversions also had the same problem.

And though it's not a real SVT product, it does have the VIN#, the engine, the drivetrain, practically everything was taken off the original and incorporated into a supercab. Then again, the original 93-95 Lightnings weren't SVT products either SVT just markets what others build.

Let me be a critic also... Now look at my screen name.. My 93 originally was black, definately the worst paint job ever. It since has been repainted. Love that old truck...

But Brian...IT IS A REAL LIGHTNING

Full Effect modified the frame by adding 22" to the frame on the Lightning and then the installed a brand new replacement cab from Ford. They did not convert a supercab to a Lightning. It is a true Lightning, It carries number 125..a very low production number which explains why it was the first unit Full Effect customized.

why would someone do that? If you need passanger space or storage space just dont buy a sport car/truck. whatever floats your boat I guess, but that thing is F-U-G-L-Y

Ahh, I was mistaken then I personally like them, not as much as the regular Gen1s, but still more than the Gen2s
