timbuck2fl,
I have known Brian for sometime and have spoken to him periodically.
I can surely say that Brian did not mean anything with his comment, and it should not be taken that way.
I know the 93s paint leave little to be desired, but with some work they can look pretty nice.
That may have just been a poor photo to post, that truck could look super with alittle work, but we understand the price of the kit may not have left much $$ for anything else.
I know that any truck owner with a vehicle over 10 years old can expect some dings.
I also looked at Full Effects kit, I know they usually take a Lightning and use there kit, But after resetting it I decided I did not want the added 400 lb. and the ill handling effects that came with it (over steer)
I also contacted them when I was looking for a center seat conversion for my truck and after confirming there prices, I looked else where. I found that Brougham seating was more than happy to supply a center seat for 1/2 the price of the full effect kit with a lot better quality and looks.
Please do not get upset with someone's' post if he is just observing something. We try to make friends on these boards not make trouble and there are a lot of guys here that have a lot of knowledge with these trucks; as you do.
Your truck will be a nice Keep sake since there are not many of them around, but you will always be questioned as if it is real because there were no Extra cabs produced, but with many original owners of a 1st Gen, I did not want to take away too much performance by adding the extra weight or changing the symmetry.
