Another good reason to keep your L..

if it has a lobey idle be carefull, its not hard at all to pull 450 from something like a 350, a buddy of mine had one outputting 450 straight motor with a 150 shot of nitrous on top of that, that thing was fast!

here you can borrow my 900hp 67, its in my gallery somewhere...hehe

Yep, Watch out. That 350 can be dangerous.LOL One of the guys I go to the track with has a 69' Camaro. Bright orange, 454 w/ a procharger. The 350 was too wimpy.LOL Thou he was impressed when he saw everyones L at Cecil running in the 10's and 11's.

Run him!!!!!! What could you lose?

yeah i forgot to mention the idle...the motor in the '66 vette in my gallery is a 350 putting out about 450 hp, idles (barely) at about 1000 rpm, has 11.5:1 compression, 1973 angle plug heads, and a 1970 LT-1 spec solid lifter Crane cam. this bad boy will pull to 7000 rpm, at which point you powershift the next gear and check your pants....hehe

If the Camaro has any power at all, and he hasn't done anything to the rear suspension (traction bars, etc.) wheel hop in those cars are tremendous. 1st Generation Camaro's that came out with the s/s package had what Chevy called radius rods(round stock w/eyelets) mounted from the rear end housing to the chassis. They helped some, but most people removed them and installed aftermarket traction bars.
