So i guess the 22" wheels im puttin on is only gonna hurt me more?

They are not that crazy heavey, they are made by BBS so pretty light for 22's. Will larger rim effect MPG?

Unsprung weight hurts performance and mpg but the larger diameter tire/wheel will help your mpg if they aren't too much heavier. Masterloggie got(gets?) 18-21 mpg with 22"ers, 3.55 rear end gear and PSP's 4-way chip--on the highway.
