Looking good! I found an '03 DSG available and emailed the dealer regarding the particulars but haven't heard from them yet. The leftover '02 was a fluke since that particular dealer isn't of the SVT variant. I doubt that I'll fair too well on the deal. Can't hurt to check it out though.

BBQ, those wheels are tight as hell! I also will put 99-00 chromies on my 03 when it gets here. Where did you get yours chromed? I used Santa Anna Wheel on my 99 and after washing them last night I don't think I will let them do the next set. They are not that bad but I think I can get better. What do you think the 03 wheels would look like chromed? I have not seen them in person so I really have no idea what they look like (other than in pics).

Nothing else to say except that's classy looking. Drop that behind tho'. It's vulgar. I like the color and the chrome. Good choice.

Re: Off my meds...

Yea 356,

I'm totally pissed! Had to take the Ford out in the rain, cinders, icy, muddy, dirt road to drop off my Stepson at his friends for a stayover. Dire F'n emergency ya know! I put it back in the garage and haven't looked at it since. It'll take me a full day to clean it up once we get a warm day. Maybe in April or May. IMO it'll never be the same. The only saving grace is that the crud was limited to the bottom since I didn't exceed 30 mph. My Wife called from work and suggested I borrow my Stepfathers truck. I don't make a habit of borrowing things. Might just be a $10,000 ride!

i was getting ready to do a chrome swap with Tim (chikenears,,, he does this also, by the way), when my son told me of someone who would swap my old 99 stock silver "SVT" rims for some brand new chrome rims that say "AFS" on the centers, so i did the swap straight-up. the "svt" chrome 99's are still on "wonderboy"

as i was washing the new truck earlier, it dawned on me, that maybe the Bilstein Corp has something to do with the "Look at my ***" look of the 03's. it is a great advertisement to anyone following the truck, as you can see the entire length with their name on them

Looking good Master of the BBQ!

Was going to ask if you put the 03 rims on Wonderboy for a looky see until reading you swapped even up.
