a good reason to avoid potholes

Took them to the local Goodyear store to see if there was any kind of warranty. They said that it was caused by a pothole and it happens all the time. Sucks because they have so much tread left. I guess I am in need of 1 tire.

I didn't even think of that. I'm not getting any vibration out of the wheel. The only reason I noticed it was because I pulled the truck out of the garage to get to the attic. I walked out the door and was checking out the truck and it stood out like a sore thumb. It could have been there a while. Kind of scary.

Hey RAN JR,
Unless my sales guy lied to me my tires have a road hazard on them. Check with your dealer, I made sure I asked about it when I bought my truck. When I bought my wife’s car new I had a blow out on it and it only had 3000 miles. I called the Pontiac dealer to see if it was covered and they told me no. Same with the battery, it went out in three years and even though it said 4 years on the battery, it wasn’t covered. He also told me if I bought the battery out right and not in a new car, that’s when the warranty stated on the battery is honored. Go figure?

"Unless my sales guy lied to me..."

They never lie...
My sales guy told me Lightnings have a "special" chip that limits rpm's to protect the engine during the break in period then burns up after 1k miles. Yeah ok...

RAN JR Sorry abut your tire, that sucks. I have gotten "nailed" once and "screw'd" twice. Lucky me all same tire, I plugged them all and the tire seems to be holding air.

yep that impact bubbly looks like its pregnant! discount tire has road hazard warranty, they would replace it for free if you bought it from them, but if theyre stock tires then i dont think there is anything you can do
