Virginia International Raceway National Meet

After watching the Speedvision show a couple of times I have this crazy idea about looking into use of this Top of the list venue.
Anyone interested or have stroke in this area...

If we could just evade the Dominion State Storm troopers...

I might be interested since it is pretty close to me. I have some friends at www.performanceautosport.com that race Saleens up there from time to time. They just had a Trans Am series race up their fairly recently as well. I know there is AT LEAST one Lightning owner out there in Danville area. But If I remember correctly he had his Lightning AND his Saleen up for sale last I looked.

later,
chris

Here's a little video of the track from one of the local guys. Looks like it would be fun. Count me in. BTW he says "...that nice soft grass is alot rougher than it looks at a 120 mph." http://www.hrracing.com/videos/phooka_vir_01.mpg

Nice video, I've only ran that track on my bike. I ran off a couple of times also and it's really bumpy

I'd be interested, and I have a friend with a Mustang GT that may also be interested. We both went to Watkins Glen last year and I'd like to see how VIR compares.
