North Atlanta Imposter!!

I was driving South on Highway 41 from Cartersville towards Kennesaw and was passed by a new model 4-door blue 4WD ford with the lightning emblems on the sides and the SVT F150 emblem on the back. Now I don't know whether he had one of our engines in the thing, but it still erks me to see something like this.
If you want a HD, then buy one; but no matter what you do, it still isn't an L! Just ask SVT.
Anyway, just had to vent.

Here too, I've seen a few supercrew "lightnings" and then a handfull of others with lightning wheels or lights.

SpankDog - then you probably have seen me driving around!!!

Hey guys, I love your trucks, but I was going from an S10 extended cab to a full size and wanted more passenger room and it did not make sense to go to a regular cab truck, so I opted for the SCrew. Guess I had "Lightning Envy" when I had the dealer put on the front end and I added the wheels. And I had all intentions on one day adding a supercharger, but after reading enough threads on here, I want my engine to last a long time. And yes, I too put the emblems on the sides, just because I did not like the factory F150 emblem and did not want to pay to have them shaved. But, I did not want to be known as a "poser" , so the emblems are gone - replaced them with acetoned "SCrew" badges.

Unfortunately the blown Harleys had not come out yet, otherwise that would be sitting in my driveway right now.

Oh well, I like the way my truck looks and that is all that matters!!

There was a super crew at my kids school that a guy did a conversion on. He had emblems, wheels and front bumper. It looked good, but not the real thing. Every morning my kids would see it and say "thats not a real lightning!". I think they were razzing the kid whose dad owned the truck. I noticed recently that he put it all back stock.
