This is ridiculous

A guy i talked to last night said he bought his 99 L for 14,500, i was like wtf???.....is it possible to buy an L that cheap and have it still run right?

Probaly B.S. , But you never know. High mileage, guy needed the money bad, etc....

what kind of shape was it in?

I saw a 99 go in my area with 60K miles for 15K in a private sell. So it is possible.

Looked stock, but had extreme brake dust build up, he didnt take good care of it from the looks of things

Well maybe beyond the 2 plugs hanging out of the motor, and the other 5 having helicoils put in...not much

I called Ford Customer Care and asked them the same question, they say 'there is no problem'.

So the offical word is none
