Why all the put downs?

I realize people do some crazy stuff to their vehicles and some of it is pretty ugly, but why do some people feel it necessary to post pictures and let the attacks begin. It may not be your choice and it may not be my choice, but let everyone do what they want to their vehicle without redicule. To me, it's not much different than being racist. I'm sure I'll take some heat over this post, but since 9/11, I guess I've been a little more sensitive to other people. This forum is great for exchanging ideas and offering support or just discussing trucks in general, but lately it's become more and more about dissing on peoples rides.

Americas sensitivity is what got us into this Mess. Your only an Idiot if 51% of the population thinks you are, thats the Democratic way. If you are talking about the previous ricer post, only, and I mean only, a totaly mental challenged Idiot would do that to a car. On this I think I have the backing of the entire pop. of the world, even the hard core Ricers.

Anytime someone posts ANYTHING, pictures or text, they have to be prepared to have it bashed. That's just how internet forums work. If someone can't handle this risk, then that person should just read and not post. People feel more free to speak their minds online due to the lack of potential retribution, so if they don't like something they will surely say it. They don't (often) do this in person because they might get punched in the nose.

No, it wasn't that car in particular. It's just that a lot of the threads lately have been people posting pictures of various vehicles, some have been Lightnings or other Ford trucks, and then the put downs begin. I see a vehicle I don't like, I look the other way and ignore it. There are a lot of great people on this forum, but it just seems to be slipping lately. Maybe their isn't much to discuss, so it's easier to diss on people.

Most of the time the pictures aren't posted by the owner though.

How about this then... Anytime anyone TAKES A CHANCE or PUSHES A LIMIT, they have to be prepared to be bashed. The pictures I remember seeing bashed are ones of people doing extreme things to their vehicles. That almost guarantees a "love it or hate it" reaction from viewers. As previously stated, if someone has an opinion, it's very easy to post it anonymously in an internet forum like this.

Arrow why?

Half correct. There isn't much to discuss as of late although the 03 info is somewhat interesting.

Dissing on various automotive creations (unique rice in particular) is, IMHO, much more entertaining than the mindless tuner/chip/pulley/washer war drivel.

As for the racist comparison. Sir, I trust this was in complete jest.

Whether it be Cooter the Ultra Redneck in his El Camino/Tailgate cooler, a suburbanite Icy Hot Stuna rollin on dubs, a Pimpala sportin gold Daytons, ANYTHING related to an Audi TT, the ever-popular Wabbit, Super Greg, Peter Pan, an EsArTee Ten, et. al., 99% of the posts are intended to spark humorous conversation.

Cheers,

Bob
