At least thats what the wife told me tonight when we went out to dinner. Arrived at the steakhouse, actually found a good spot to park up front. Got seated in the back, where I can't see my baby. Looked out the window, saw an open spot right there... made a gratuitous "I need to get my jacket" excuse, went out and moved the L to that spot... even though it was way farther from the door, at least I could stare at people as they parked or walked near my truck, and think about new mods with some visual aid...
Now, she says I have a problem, but I am still trying to figure out what it is...

I got Handicapp Parking always at the front door. I always like to see people look at my Lightning or Navigator; I think it is a ego problem we all have, knowing the vehicles we drive show wealth
. When they get too close or a jealous teenager pulls his keys out the Panic button gets pressed then they scatter.
This is worse than the 10 years I was addicted to crack, just as dam expensive too.
The good part is I have friends and family now.
Still no dam money though
2 Cool, as for the wife , she just doesn't have the Eaton Fever like we do, they just don't understand. I'm a single Dad, he's now 8 and I've been raising him since 8 months old, he says I Love my Lightning more than him.

i always do that. been on dates where i swore i stared at my lightning outside in the parking lot more than i did the girl in front of me. i figure i pay for gas in the L i'm guaranteed a ride....i pay for dinner and it's still a gamble
other instances include me washing the truck in the middle of the nite and getting friends to sit in the car if i have to drive on campus to get some papers, etc.
and how many college students do YOU know who pay 60 bucks for covered parking under their apt and keep 2 cars around so the L doesn't get too much mileage (too late she's got 7k
)

If you have a problem, i have one also, i may not have the L yet.. but i do park all my cars where i can see them, and that includes my every day driver saturn SL1 4 door, hehe
Its usually 1/2 a mile from the place i am going to, but atleast i know nobody will mess with it
Must be something floating around...
I must have that problem too, The only place I am able to park my F150 somewhere where I can't see it from the window is my own house, but otherwise whether I am at my mom's apartment sleeping over, at work, at college, or anywhere, it always has to be in visual sight from the window. Also, if there are no free spots by a window, i will listen outside for someone in the parking lot to leave so I can move mine so it will be by the window. I even did it tonight. Also, I park by the window b/c I am paranoid about lights being left on b/c even though I have never had it happen, I have jumpstarted way to many other cars to have it happen to me. So you all are not hte only ones that have to have your babies by the window, me too
