Thumbs up New Radio adaptor plate

I was looking through the Ford web page today and saw this. It is the trim part for the new MP3 player.

I think I am going to get the trim panel, and see if my Alpine will fit in it.

If it does I will have a Lightning logo engraved in it

NICE!!! That thing is gorgeous. Your Alpine will fit in there, no prob - that's a Kenwood unit in the pic, so mounting is identical. I kinda like how it still has the Ford OEM 4-hole dismount system, too!

You find a part number or anything yet? Guess probably not until Monday, huh... Well, keep us posted, I'll probably order one soon too!

how do you get the out

how can you get those 4 hole jobs out without having the tool, or do you need to go track one down??? i need to put a stereo in my girl's car and it has that 4 hole thing.

They're not too hard to find. Auto Zone has them. I have also made some out of a clothes hanger before.
