Heat=warm...not hot.

Pressure? How many psi does your rearend make? 4, 5 psi ? Maybe you can route it to the intake for some free boost?

Just Kidding...im sure you meant pressure as in structural stress.

aka Lexan is pretty damn strong. I'll leave it to the mechanical engineers to say exactly how strong, but I had a helmet made out of it that was less than 1/8" thick and I could jump up and down on it (200+ lbs)

Hehehe...

Yeah, you got the point. And, I guess that the valve covers would have a better chance of getting hot than the differential.

I just know that Chevy's been trying to put aluminum covers on their rears for years, and every time they do, they tend to replace alot of gaskets.

Sure, Lexan is strong against breakage, but isn't it flexible, to a degree? I would think that the torque of a turning axle, (especially with monster tires like that demo truck has), would flex the cover enough to leak.
