lowering kit
that, belltech, eibach, and western chassis, are the most popular, there are alot of people on here with that kit, and alot of them like it, you really cant go wrong with what brand lowering kit you get, everyone that has a different brand loves there's so you'll like it. they all basically accomplish the same thing.
I have the FRPP kit, which is the same as your Ground Force kit. I like the way the truck looks. It's not as radical as some of the kits out there, which was what I was looking for, as I still need to tow and haul from time to time.
I find the ride to be slightly stiffer (I assume because the rear shocks are partially loaded at all times). I've also noticed that the steering is more sensitive as well and the handling feels more taut
I would recommend using the NAPA cam bolt kit on the front. Some owners also install Herb's washers at this time to prevent the dreaded clunk from the steering. In my case, I opted to have the steering stops greased instead, and have not heard the clunk in over a year.
An alignment is a must after the install.

Vinnie, are you still running stock shocks, or did you upgrade? I love the stance your truck has. I was going to go with a 3/4, but you may have just changed my mind!

Remember that I also have 20s and they are about 3/4 of an inch taller (295/40) then stock tire height.
That does help fill the fendewell a little.

Just installed the Groundforce aka FRPP kit. Nice kit, not too low but low enough to have to watch the parking kerbs and some entrances.
If you value the front of the truck I would not go any lower than the 1" drop in front.

Vinnie,
I had heard that if you lower and keep the stock
shocks you will wear them out a lot quicker. Any
indication of that so far? The ROUSH shocks are
Bilsteins, but are setup differently to compensate
for the drop. The only thing I have left is to replace
the Beehive bumper stops with something better.
I like the rollpan look, but dont' want to give up
towing..... Any solution?

However, I've had a 2/2 drop for seven months/one year respectively.

I have not noticed any real difference yet, but you are probaly right.
My biggest difference is the anti-sway bar. When that thing is off OH MY GOD the L dances around the street. It is almost scary.
About the rollpan. You can do what I am going to do .Get a hidden hitch. It goes behind the rollpan and the licence plate lifts up(Hinge) and there is a hitch there(obviously there is a hole in the Rollpan behind the lisence plate). It works just the same as any other hitch and you will never know it is there. A bonus is even more protection behind the rollpan.
