I got a nice kicker DX700 amp for sale that I used to use.

Its 700 watts total power RMS, and its got a remote gain, digital crossover and digital power.

E-mail me and let me know if you interested. Joemessana@jvi.net

u think that is enough power? can i run it at what like 350x2? is it 2 ohm stable? I dont even know if i would run it at 2 ohms anyway. they shop by my house recommended a 600.4 kicker which could be bridged at 300x2. I guess if u think that is enough power i would consider. remember the speakers are 450 each rms and 900 peak each. I dont know alot about amps so i dont know if that is enough power or not. If it is i am interested.

Vinny,

Which L7…? S8L72 or S8L74, both are dvc but one is at 2ohms (both coils at 4ohms paralleled) and the other 4ohms (both coils at 8ohms paralleled)… You don’t want to under power your subs.

Nice system EvilGuy, well matched and a clean installation!

Vinny, EvilGuy is running 10L72’s (or 4’s in parallel) that are rated at 600wrms @ 2ohms each, the JBL is a 1200w 2ohm class d amp, when finish you have 600X2@2ohms, the amp is matched perfectly to the speakers and is a well though out system…

There are a lot of L’s running 10’s (including me), but if you have to use the 8’s for space or something let us know and please post some pics when your finished…

Thanks for the compliments brick, but I was actually running the subs with a 1ohm impedance and feeding them about 1200 watts each :-D. One thing I've learned with the L7s is that they need more than RMS to really push them in a sealed box.

I don't know about that, I got a 12"L7 in my grand prix in a sealed box less then 1 cubic foot and I blew the dust cap off already with about 1000 watts of power. Phoenix gold ZX500 amp is what I'm using so its a good amp, better then most.

Joe, if you want to make that 12 really hit clean and hard consider a ported box. I like my 10l7 in a ported box much better than in a sealed. But if you run it in a ported box only run the amp at RMS levels.
