My 02 L and my 94 L had them..... Same problem with both of them whatever you put in them fly's out!

my 00HD doesn't have a cubby hole either does anybody know a part # and if that dash panel can be easily swapped out?

Actually it depends on your production date for the '02s on your cubby status. First production did not include cubby hole, second stage included the cubby along with square "Jesus Handles" and squared window/door lock buttons......

 

I'll look up the part number tomorrow, when I shoot over to my dad's shop. Otherwise, it's a pretty large chunk of the dash...

 

I wish the 01's had it - sounds like a real good place for switches

I was wondering about that. The 02 I test drove all afternoon had one, but when I picked mine up, it didn't
I thought maybe I was having a flash back so I never said something. I wonder why some have them, and some don't.
Ford probably ran out and put a differant panel in the ones without them. I wouldn't put anything past them after 5 years of no threads in the heads (sorry that was a cheap shot) BUT TRUE

 

Can someone post a picture of their cubby hole? I want to see what I'm missing out on.
