Cubby hole is back!!

Just noticed in Rocks's 03 pics, that Ford put the cubby hole back in the under dash panel. For those who don't know what I mean, 99s had a cool storage cubby hole in the lower dash on the right side of the steering wheel. I use to keep my wallet there. In 00, they did away with it because they added the overhead storage compartment. Seeing the pics of Rocks's 03, I noticed they put that cubby hole back in. Sweet

BTW, nice truck Rocks, congrats!

There's also no more storage compartment behind the seat... saves me time in tearing it out

Wow really? So I guess the CD changer is just mounted to the floor, maybe with a sheild or something around it?

BTW, nice phone convo with you

My '02 has a cubby too. It kinda sucks, though! Everything flies out under acceleration!

Thanks Sal,
I was glad to see the cubby hole back. I had heard it was gone. And yes the CD is in dash...I like that alot better than the behind the seat set up.

I haven't checked my computer code yet. From talking to GreySVT did you find out if it was the same code as the 2002?

As soon as everyone in town gets the heck off the streets, I believe I am going to take her out and finish breaking her in.

Get a rubber rollaway (tool box) protector mat from Sears. Cut to size. Slip it in. Provides an anti-vibration, anti-slip surface. With the stiff suspension I have, I had to line all of the storage surfaces with the stuff. Works great.
