qustions for guys running IT24's

I have a set that I installed and didn't care for at first. I had them set at .038 and I have a 4lb lower and 2lb upper so thats more then enough boost I would think??

When I was running them I just didn't think they where that smooth and the power seemed to be off a little bit like they where to cold. I don't want to run anything hotter then a br7 with my setup, especially with the 50 shot of juice on top of it all but I just haven't had that much experience with them denso's yet.

you guys that are running them, what do you have them gapped at and how much boost are you pushing? I'm right around 15 to 16lbs of boost on a normal day.

I really hate to not use these damn plug after spending the 90 bucks on them you know.

with that much boost and your spraying the 24's are a good COLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLD choice. they are fine as long as you spray. if your not spraying go with the 22's

I shouldn't have to swap plugs for only a 50 shot though you know. I used to run tr6's with a 2lb lower and spray 50 and 75 shots with no problems.

thats why this has got me twisted, maybe I just need to increase the gap on them and hope for no detonation with the juice. I can always run a slightly larger pill for the wet kit too I guess.

You see that woman in my sig? I'm on a tight leash now, HEHEHE. Everything I buy now is in secret and it can't be nothing to drastic so she doesn't really notice, HEHEHHE. I can't go nuts until I buy a house and put the ring on her finger now. Ahhhh its not that bad, she's worth it.

Joe,

I think you made need to close the gap up some...

I ran IT20's with a 6lb lower @ .038 with no problems
I ran IT24's with a 6lb lower @ .035 EVEN BETTER!!
I ran TR6's with a 6lb lower @ .032 SUCKED up top
I now have BR7's with a 6lb lower @ .032 and they ROCK!

With higher boost its harder to get the spark to act right, you must close the gap up as you increase boost.... And take off .002 more with the Juice....
