Dave....
My favorite 'wear all the time' watch is a Seiko world Timer....I bought one new 5 years ago and wore it so much the names of world cities on the bezel started to fade.
I decided to try to find another but it was out of production or sold out in all the retailers I tried.

So guess where I found one....Good ol' E Boy !

As I tend to be a Form follows function sort of guy I usually wind up with a Timex( "Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin" ).

I have a clock on computer at work, clock on wall at work, clock in truck, clock on stove at home, clock on VCR at home, clock on entertainment center at home ,clock on bathroom wall at home, clock on computer at home, clock on microwave at home....etc..
I guess I don't wear a watch except to set all the clocks I have when the power fails!! It's a timex triathalon, digital. All those hands and stuff are too confusing for me. A buddy has some kind of chronograph and I about had a seizure looking at it.

I usually wear a Raymond Weil "Tango" but have several different brands for all different occasions.

As the saying goes...A man with one watch always knows what time it is. A man with more than one watch is never sure what time it is...or something like that.

Well, it's not a Rolex, but this is the watch I wear.
I like it because it's thin and light, and I hardly notice it on my wrst.

There's more expensive Movado's out there, but this keeps good time.

I owned a Rolex once, bought it in the market in Dubai for $100 UAE Dirhams

I traded it a year later for 2 cases of beer.
They also sold Cucci watches for $50 dirhams, haha.

Later

(That's right, Cucci, not Gucci)
Ku-Chee LOL

Green_98....

Nice Rolex....looks like a Tigers Eye Face.
(Wait for RP !)

Trouble is , despite their public image Rolexes are NOT a sound buy.
They depreciate badly especially when bought from normal retail sources.

A notable exception of course are some of the vintage Oyster and Bubbleback models, but a new one worth looking out for is of course, The Daytona.

Just because Paul Newman wore one.
Also certain Tag Heuer models because of the link to Steve McQueen.

Want to see some lovely watches beautifully displayed by a private seller....go to...

In particular look at the Heuer Silverstone.
