Joe,

Thanks, I've got your info completed now. I'm almost completed with the spreadsheet. So far, I'm still missing a few emails of folks that I've got all the truck info on. I may just go ahead and publish the Excel file to all the members that have contributed info and just call it good. If anyone else finds some missing info, then they can fill it in and send it around to everyone for an update.

Later,

~DM~

Daveman -

My compliments on what must be a massive underaking. Just to gather the info staggers the imagination but then to compile it in a document for everyone's use - Great job! And you have to know it will be constantly changing.

My e-mail is: ALH1128@aol.com

Let me know if you need anything else. I'll be around somewhere.

Thanks Chestnut, I've got you completed now. I've only invested 15 to 20 hours thus far and I enjoy doing it so it's my pleasure to help out, if in fact it is helpful to others too. As far as updates and keeping up with changes, there will be over 50 others who will have a copy and I'm hoping that some will correct their info and pass it onto the others as it changes.

Later,

~DM~

Question Performance Chips: superchip et al

Has anyone purchased a performance chip out there? I have a 2001 5.4l, 3.55rear end, 35" tires. I am hopeful to adjust shift points, and make standard adjustments to compensate for larger wheel rollout
Warranty issues?
Suggestions?
Thanx

PS thanx to Daveman for the work done so far

Phat Farm,

Welcome to the KR fourms, where have you been hiding?

Here's a link to the computer chips forum:

https://www.f150online.com/forums/fo...?s=&forumid=34

You should be able to find what you are looking for there. I know there are many Super Crews that have the upgraded chips and they are scattered about on this website. Being a the new member that you are, I'm reluctant to tell you to go and search, but actually it's the best advice I can give you.

Click on the search button on the top of your browser on the site and navigate to the where you can type a topic and click search. The search engine will find either topics that include the words Computer Chips in the thread description but you will need to select find thread titles and not within the thread's body.

Hope that helps you man.

Pooh,

Got it, thanks and I apologize for not listing or otherwise knowing that you had a King Ranch truck...Somehow I overlooked you but now I've got it correct.

Thanks,

KR1,

I sent you an email of what I needed from you.

Thanks for the email address, I used that to email you so look there instead of here.

Daveman,

I had one salesman tell me the KR was an "old man's truck." That said, I'd be interested to know the average age of the KR owners on this forum based on any data you have.

Personally, I thought the salesman was nuts, but selling cars and trucks is his business. Is he accurate??

Just a thought!

Marc

Well, I'm no old man being only 28. But I did see one very old couple in an Estate Green KR in NC over the July Fourth week. I'd say on average that most younger people can't afford these lavish trucks. That's why I have x-plan .

Marc,

That statement may be true, but how old is OLD? I'm 43 and a few others are much younger, in their twenties and I have no information on the ages of owners. I am only interested in the truck information as well as how to contact each member for information exchange, that's it.

I'd have to guess that there is no correlation on KR ownership with age but I'm sure Ford could tell you in an instant becasue if they are doing their job as I would think it should be done, then they must have an awsome database loaded with very valuable owner information that tells them what sells and to who.

Don't tell me that you didn't buy a KR becasue the salesman told you it was an old man's truck...please...I may be a little older than the average member but I'm young at heart, I'm sure of it.
