Auto Power Windows etc.

Saw RP's posts on the Supercrew board about auto power down windows being available on passenger door as well as drivers.
On my S Type Jag (A Ford product if you'd forgotten)....
auto power down is available from the remote for all windows and sunroof.
If for instance you are returning to a parked vehicle that has been in the sun one touch on the remote powers down ALL the windows and opens the sunroof to help get rid of excess heat.

It must be possible to make this mod to the truck so if you find out how....let us know !

I don't know. After looking at the entire button assembly, I shyed away from the thought of ever having it. I wish it'd work but, I don't think I'll ever attempt it.

Jaguar may be owned by Ford, but they are an independent entity. Just because one does one thing doesn't mean you can retrofit it to another.

Gosh...there's a thing !

I'd never have worked that out on my own !

(I only said it becasuse some uninformed person might wonder what the connection would be!)

Despite what you say a lot of technology IS now shared between Ford/Volvo/Jaguar/Aston Martin.

Dufunnel.....you have more posts than I do on this board which means you have followed it for some time...which means you should know that I shouldn't need educating on points like that!

Well I assumed that, but some people probably wouldn't have known that and considered it a viable retrofit job.
