What exactly does the KR edition...

What exactly does the KR edition have that the Lariat doesn't? I just bought a 2002 Lariat FX4 supercrew and am in love with it, but I'm not sure that I am as crazy about my vehicle as you guys are... especially RockPick, Skagel, and Lenticular... by the way, what was your recommendation on my meds Lent. I will get started right away upon your recommendation.

Just looking for a little information from what appears to be a well-informed group of people. Thanks a lot,

Jeremy (LRHOGFAN)

King Ranch Leather, primarily. 4-bucket seats with rear console. Optional bench rear seat added to 02 model. Raised trim paint beltline, no moulding on doors. 3 paint colors (chestnut, estate greeen, charcoal blue) supposedly exclusive to KR models. Unique paint on 10-spoke wheels. Homelink thing (waste o'money) that you can record your grocery list or mistress' phone number for your wife to find later-the only thing that I have recorded is the part of Disturbed's"The Sickness" where the guy yells "WO-AH AH AH AH".
Arizona beige bed rail caps, running boards, front valance, and bumpers. I'm sure I left something out, but there are other obsessed freaks besides myself that knows this stuff!

(I'm picturing Lenticular trying to think who Disturbed is and he's drawing a blank)

Irhogfan.....

The medication simply involves looking at all the new KR threads twice a day....... each time with a large pinch of salt.
Especially those posted by members separated from their trucks by large expanses of ocean.

what are you kidding broncodave that homelink think is the best thing since peanut butter. I have more then one garage door and having garage door openers cluttering up my vehicles drives me nuts. The home link thing solves that problem.....now I can add a third garage door

I like the homelink thing too, but could have done with another garage door button instead of the stupid message recorder.

LOL at the Disturbed comment...

the message recorder comes in handy while in traffic and you want to vent so you record yourself then play it back to hear what an idiot you sound like.....it releives a bit of the stress.....just remember to erase it though.

Ther homelink thing doesn't do me much good personally, since we have a one-car garage and my wife planted the flag on that long ago. I'll have to look at the info that came with the homelink a little more closely. Maybe I could program it to turn on my remote controlled driving lights.

ya know speaking of Homelink I thought our trucks were the first to have them, but I was wrong. I went out with my friend Steve the other night in his '00 Explorer Eddie Bauer and he has the homelink thingy on his visor too. He uses it mainly to record his son talking and singing.....Actually he is very cute.....his son.....

My 2002 has the homelink system on it. I haven't really used it that much. I guess it's nice to have if you were trying to take down directions and if I had a garage door opener.
