Don't have them myself, but I think if you like the look the go for it. Not sure if it fits the personality of a King Ranch, but then again I have tagged Tomas with a stainless brush guard and taillight guards and when my warranty is up in 7 years he will be getting a Fabtech lift and that is deffinately not a King Ranch personality.

I've got them on mine. They look very sweet. Haven't taken the time to take pictures of them yet though. Hopefully I can do that this weekend after I condition the seats.

I believe his is a 4x2 and he's going for the hot rod look. Yours is more of a 4x4 beast. I remember dufunnel said he wanted a harley originally. Since ours is a 4x2 also I would go hot rod if I was going to trick it out. No sense making it into something it's not There's not much reason for going with a 4x4 in thise area. We couldn't warrant wasting the gas milage and extra cost of the 4x4 for a rig that would never go off the pavement.

Now, if I still lived in eastern Oregon I would have 2 4x4's. Granted I had my old 4x2 chevy in more places than most people with 4x4's have ever been, but it's nice to know that if you get in trouble you have 4 wheel drive to get you out.

generally 4x4 just gets you stuck out in the muck further

heh pkagel, yeah, I've seen a couple 4x4's that have needed a Cat to pull em out. What's really funny is when the Cat gets stuck in the muck too.

"Well Dave, we'll see you back here in the summer when this all dries up to get your truck out!"

I have simply added to the look of the King Ranch. I felt that Ford could have done a better job of making it look more luxurious, so I added some features that happened to come on the Harley to mine. Nothing I have added has the Harley emblem on it, so besides the wheels being the same unique ones as the Harley, you wouldn't know they were Harley specific parts (I made sure to fabricate my own center caps to get rid of the Harley emblem). I looked at the Harley edition when I bought this truck, but I did not want a black exterior or interior here in Florida, I was more enamored with the King Ranch leather than the Harley edition, and I couldn't get the Harley edition on x-plan. The more I look back on it, the more I am glad I got the King Ranch, because I am one of the few that have one here. I see 10 times more Harley editions than King Ranch's, so I think it was a good investment.

By the way, who has the Chestnut 4x4 with a stainless steel bug shield in the Orlando area? I have seen it a couple times around here, but I don't recall seeing anyone like that on the boards here.
