What next?

So I am sitting at my desk at work looking out the window admiring how absolutely gorgeous Tomas looks glistening in the afternoon sun, and I think to myself what am I going to do next with Tomas. I know I have a garage full of mods waiting for my b/f to do, but what else can I do with him. And I have come to a complete blank. Is it possible to have mod'd Tomas to the point where there is nothing left to do? Is Tomas finally the picture of perfection?

Help or I am gonna have to start mod'ing the rice burner.

Have you thought about an exhaust (Bassani or B&B)?

How about dressing up the underhood area? I got some powder coated pieces to match the Paint.

I just hooked up some 150W KC Slimlites behined my grille and they look awesome! Although, it seems to me that you are all ready waiting for b/f to hook up lights and switches.

You could always acetone the emblems as a cheap mod too.

why don't you leave the darn truck alone before you end up air bagging it and taking it to getto car shows.

I'm pretty much with pkagel on this one...

Yeah, I've done a few little here and there mods to mine but, I must say, when it comes to our trucks, stock is pretty damn nice.

Skagel, save your $$ and pay someone to take the Isuzu. Just a thought...hahahaha

Sarah,

Just leave the damn truck alone and send the money down south to me, I'll put it to good use, I promise.

Seriously, if you don't stop adding stuff to that truck, no ones going to notice that it's a King Ranch. It's going to be called King of the ghetto Ranch, j/k.

My advise is to stop adding crap and drive the damn thing, that's the only way you are going to half way get any enjoyment out of your non appreciating bad investment. The only way a King Ranch can maintain it's value is if you leave it stock and just drive it. After all, that's what is was designed to do, carry people from point A to B, not sit in a garage and have parts added to it until the springs go flat from all the weight .

I know you probably will hate me now but I just can't bear to see you keep piling parts onto a truck equipped with every option that Ford offers.

Later,
~DM~

GRRRRR....ok fine I will stop after I decide on the exhaust.....and I will have everyone know I have driven Tomas 3 days in a row now and have put on an additional 275 miles on him...it is summer and that means no salt......and that of course means I get to drive Tomas with out fear of rust......just the fear of other drivers.

BD has an answer for EVERYTHING!! LMAO!

BD, I'm in Montana right now... Out in Missoula. Where do I need to go and what do I need to see around here? I'm heading up to Glacier tomorrow and ran through a couple of state parks today (including a WICKED mountain pass from Missoula over to around Phillipsburg). Have any other suggestions?

I think that you have it covered by going to Glacier. We almost moved to the Flathead Valley a few years ago, but my potential boss turned out to be a complete douchebag (glad I found that out before I took the job). Whitefish is a nice little town, sort of a Aspen/Jackson Hole/ Sun Valley wannabe. Flathead lake is a pretty drive, but everyone drives like madpersons (pc) on those 2-laners. Wear your seat belt, and pray for a quick death if you get hit. If you have any interest in fishing whatsoever then stop in at any local fly shop and ask about where to go. This approach has worked well for myself and my buddies on these excursions. We generally spin fish and will only break out the flyrods when nothing else works, and the fly shop guys are on whole real helpful. The next time that you are south of Butte, drive hwy 287 between Ennis and Twin Bridges. Virginia City and Nevada City are worth poking around in. My wife and I found these places on a road trip to no place particular and had fun looking at all the old-timey junk in these places. Sorry about posting so late, I just saw your post this evening. Have Fun!!
