I was wondering what everyone uses to condition their seats. The Ford stuff works, but it's a pain to order these expensive little bottles all the time. Is there something better out there? Don't mind paying the price really, just want to know what alternatives there might be.
4-way.....it is very inexpensive and is made for saddles and if ya ever priced a good saddle they are expensive so you would want to make it last forever by using the best on it......4-way baby!!
side note: I know what you're thinking Rock.....don't you dare say it....just keep it in your little twisted head.....no, scratch that I mean brain....

Did Skagel just offer us a four-way? Damn girl. You could've just sent me an email and not offered in a 'public' forum. Dave, you in?
Lexol, as well, is very inexpensive and a little goes a long way. The smell is very light and doesn't smell like a chemical based conditioner (the F150KR stuff).

So sorry Rock. I got busy doing some internet shopping for Tomas....Just ordered him some KC back-up lights.....hehehe....yet another job for my b/f. Not sure what I like more....watching him work on Tomas or knowing that the work is done free.
Well, he will get rewarded properly don't you guys worry about that.

OK Rock, you should be proud of me. Went down to the Pepboys and picked up a bottle of Lexol, along with a clay bar kit and some scratch stuff for the expi. Gonna test it out on part of the expi first to make sure I'm doing it right before I do my wife's KR.
You know, after driving that 02 KR around everywhere the Expi feels like driving a delivery van

Oh and uhh, I ran across a "glucose sponge" at the hardware store for a dollar. I noticed they had them at the car care section of Pepboys for $5 or so, I figured for a buck I could use it for anything if it's not really good to use on the car. Is it good or bad to use to clean a car?
VG,
If you got a spray bottle of lexol, spray it on a terry cloth and then work it into the leather... DO NOT, I REPEAT, DO NOT SPRAY IT DIRECTLY ON THE LEATHER. It'll leave a 'spatter pattern' on the leather (I know from experience). Better yet, spray it in the palm of your hand and massage it in to the leather.
My suggestion on conditioning is to do it EARLY in the morning when the leather is somewhat cool to the touch, then, leave it out in the sun to bake. During the winter, I crank up the seat warmers and the heat on full blast to simulate the effect of the sun.
Let me know how you like it.
