I wonder if we'll see T-Shirts...

-- sorry folks, didn't mean to get your hopes up if you were hoping to see that they were in and they're not...

Exclamation

I really don't want to step on anyones toes here, but I noticed that the first post was back in April, yet no shirts.

That made me think, and I had an idea. Why not design our own? I've done this with another group I am part of and it worked great!

My wife's best friend owns an embroidery company. Some of her clients are Honda, Chase, Automotive News, NADA and many other top notch companies.

My thought is, first, maybe we ALL vote on 4 things:

What color shirts
What type of shirts
Where is the design(s) to be placed
What kind of design/logo/layout we want

Finally, we'll do a count of sizes, get a sample product done, post it, and get a final tally/price. It's not hard to do a project like this. Like I said above, I met about 20 members of my national flight sim board last year on the Intrepid here in NYC and handed out fleece jackets and micro hats for the "squad". There were players from all over the country, everyone had to have one, they turned out great. I don't think any of us would have to physically meet to pick up a shirt for this board...we could work on alternatives, ie. shippping for that. I would be willing to give some time and organization for this.

It could be more personal and fun with the design too. Some people on this board are sure to know how to use Photoshop/Illustrator etc., and mix that with a scanner and some talent (we have that here right?, Krispy Kreme's anyone?) and walah...a cool "members only" shirt.

Just a thought...I've watched this post for too long and I'm dying for more KR stuff ...the blanket/binder/hat just don't cut it anymore.

Anyway...that's my 2 cents

BTW...even if we get the shirts from the factory...a second shirt of a different kind may not be a bad idea. I think my family and friends would get sick of me wearing a single shirt for all seven days in a week. Hmmmm....maybe I should order seven shirts?

I would love a new polo with the KR F150 badge embroidered on the left chest. Color scheme would in my mind fit best to have an arizona beige shirt with the same brown color that the outlines the badge has as the embroidery color. I'd be willing to buy a few as long as we can get the price decent.
