palm os vehicle programs

thought i'd send something of some use to the list here while i lurk in the background. these work great on the palm pilot and i figure a few of you out there have them seeing that ya'll spent so much on these trucks you must have half decent jobs. btw, sarah said that the king ranch was not present at the detroit and i went to the la auto show and there was not one there. funny thing was is that i knew more about the darn truck than the guy showing trucks at the show, sad, sad being that i sure don't know that much about the king ranch save what sarah has told me. anyway, download both these programs as they are well worth it and free to boot.

I have been using "Vehicle Log" for about 3 years now. It is a great program to keep track of servicing reminders and calculating fuel. Just thought I'd through that out there. Rockpick, it's nice to be able to reply in a KING RANCH forum HA HA HA

I thought it very interesting that everytime I take mine in for warranty service, everyone always asks what it is. Even my dealer, which is the biggest in the southeast, has seen very few KR's. I think it's great, though, because IMO it is more rare than the HD. I certainly have seen fewer of them around than the HD. That helps the resale value, not that I'll be selling mine in the next 10 years.

Hey dufunnel!

I'll be heading down your way for the Daytona 500.
I should have my truck by then. I was thinking I might need an oil change while there. Can you tell me some dealers to use or to stay away from? Or any alternate places for service if you think I should stay away from the dealers.

Thanks,

Joe

I haven't heard of any problems with the dealers around here. I have a number of friends who live in Daytona, and apparently the dealer there is fine. I can't say I've ever used any but the one right next to me, and only for warranty work. I do all my oil changes and everything besides warranty work myself, so I don't often go to the dealer. I'm afraid I can't be much help since I try not to frequent the dealers too much.
