Lightbulb King Ranch Hitch Cover

I got bored over the weekend and felt the need to play with my dads power tools and came up with this little ditty.....How do ya'll like it?

Okay Skagel,

Good to hear you're earning your keep girl. Is that thing approved by the USDOT? If not then rip it out, just kiddin, just kiddin'. Questions...questions...questions.

That looks pretty damn good but does it flash when the brakes are applied? I guess that light goes into the receiver hitch square, is that right? If so, then did you tie into the brakes or just the running lights? Maybe a picture in the daylight would reveal some more detail, what do you think?

Keep up the good work, how much did you spend on this mod? When you gonna start on the hood ornament version?

Daveman,

actually i think i only spent about $15 for this little mod....yeah it ties into my breaks....my son was applying the brakes when i took the picture. i will take a picture in the daylight whenever we get our sun back here in michigan......which should be sometime in june......
