Anyone out there in KR land have a vanity plate, What did you put on it? I'm thinking of a simple "W", if they will let me put a single character on the plate.

i just ordered my vanity plate last week. it says tomas 1. i named my truck thomas and that was as close as i could come to his name. i won't have it for the trip down to the king ranch though.

 

When I registered my truck in March I also applied for the vanity plate. First one I've ever gotten. BLDONE No it doesn't say BLONDE! It means Build One, the name of my boat, which I have to pull out of the water this weekend and winterize. Will get pics.

 

My wife and I have been visiting the States for over 20 years from the UK.
Wehen over here we live in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas, and have just bought our first truck...a King Ranch.
We are transferring our plate to it...it reads...

TX UK

Makes a change here to be able to just order a plate if its available.
Licence plates in the UK are big business and low numbers or strange combinations sell for huge sums.
By coincidence the most valuable plate ever sold was
KINGS....though nothing to do with the King Ranch obviously..it sold for over $300.000 ...thats right three hundred thousand !!!
That record is expected to go soon when the plate
SINGH comes up for auction...someone in the Asian community is expected to go to a half million.

Although it sounds excessive these plates have been superb investments and easily outpace stocks etc!
