New Here!

Hey everyone! glad to be part of the Forum, i am posting this in the King Ranch section because. well i own a 2003 Ford F-150 SuperCrew King Ranch ( Black & Arizona Beige ) it is my first vehicle. man i love this truck!! i have owned it for 2 years and have loved this truck since i first saw it in 2001 ( i was 5 when my truck was built ) it was built on September 4th 2002 and my birthday is September 8th. kinda cool to me. it has 254,000 miles and i bought it with 243,680. a few months after i bought it the air conditioner compressor locked up.. i was in tears when the mechanic said it was locked up ( we didn't know the compressor was seized at the time ) we figured it out after my brother ( i have a twin ) matted the gas and started it ( then let off when it fired up ) the belt SCREAMED ( standing by the antenna.. ow.) and it ate the belt and broke the idler pulley off and it smacked the skid plate.. ( not a fun day.. ) then after i got that fixed i automatically started searching on the seats. ( they look amazing now. ) and gave it tons of love ( waxing ect.. ) and brought the rare black color combo back. then i spent a year searching for the weather stripping for the power sliding rear window. as it apparently started leaking and the people replacing the seal lost the top and left pieces of weatherstripping. after a year of searching i found a rolled SuperCab Flareside with every window busted but the center slider. then i found a brochure for service in the truck when i took the cup holders on the console out and called the dealer.. i gave them the vin number and they said "i remember that truck, it came in with a broken steering gear" well anyway.. i will post photos when i can. currently saving for rust ( any trusted brands of rocker panels and cab corners? door bottoms as well need replaced.. and the radiator support isn't great either.. ) as for the leather it has the bucket seats in the back.. and some stories about the damages to the leather.. involving one of the King Ranch logos on the back of the passenger seat the thread coming out ( a eek after the original owner bought it ) i conditioned it and it matches the seats. then the driver seat's headrest ( his daughter drew on it with her fingernail. he also mentioned she did it to his leather couch and that hes still mad at her about it even though he doesn't own the truck anymore.) and there's the passenger's seat bottom....... his son dumped a coke in it and it ate THROUGH it. he cleaned it up ( or attempted to ) but ended up tearing it.... ( like i said. ill post photos )
