Running board question

I just installed the tan kr running boards are they only supposed to take 12 bolts? Cuz mine came with a bracket that has bolt holes thru thelike inside of the door I guess u alls help would be nice as wat bolts to use up there

Ok my boards have 3 brackets per side, 2 blots per bracket for a total of 12 bolts.
I hope this helps.

ok heres what im talking about the 2 silver bolts bolt directly to the boards you see in the pic but the black bracket that goes up has 2 more holes and i wanted to know if you all have bolts there also? you can see theres holes already there as if they are needed and the markings on the black bracket show previous use but idk what size bolts thanks

I have alot of snow/slush wedged in there now, I should have the truck thawed out by Saturday.

OK, Sorry it took so long to get back to you.
Mine has nothing that looks like that.
Where you have the nut on a bolt I have what looks like two screws coming up under each bracket.
There is no nut on these; they are tappered and threaded, They almost look like they were forced thru like a rivet.

Damn thats odd maybe ill just use self tapping screws on there
