there is no way to tell how long a truck will run. there are just too many variables involved. It could run another 100,000 miles or it could run another 10 miles. I think if it was me, I would look for a 2008 or newer. I believe 08 is when they made all the improvements to the cab.

Love my KR

I have a 2001 F-150 King Ranch w/ 105k on it and it's running like it's new, the truck is great!!! I think 20k is a little much for it unless the condition is very close to new, but if you do breakdown and get a king ranch, you won't be sorry. I would have somebody inspect the truck before you buy it, just to make sure the seller isn't hiding anything that could make you regret the purchase, but other than that, it would be a very wise investment, in my opinion.

Hope I was some help! And good luck with your search!!!

I think 20k is way too much for that year maybe like 15k or less

Price sounds pretty decent to me. Around here you'd be lucky to get that truck for that price, assuming its in good condition. Some pictures might help. A dealership link possibly?

Maybe where i live changes things but private party book on that thing in good condition (not excellent) is over 23k. I didn't factor in any extras either, many of which it probably has.

I paid 19K for mine 2006 a year ago, but it only had 41K miles.
