Yeah... not a lot of 'new' stuff to get overly excited about. Heated rear seats are neat but, ehh... not a selling point for me, honestly.

Sync is upgraded for 2010 too.
Also, the newly designed rotors and brakes are coming for 2010.

I'm not exactly sure when Job #1 begins for the 2010... can someone shed some light on this?

I just bought a 2009 KR and love it!!! These are really nice trucks. Was originally looking at a Lariat but for only a little more $$$ got better leather seats, power folding mirrors, etc.

Why do you say "yuck" to e-fans? They DO reduce the power loss associated with the fluid clutch powered fan. (Perhaps you're just an old dog like me who doesn't like change).

Excellent. Enjoy and be sure to post up once you've taken delivery, skydiver! Congrats!! I can't wait to see them on the lots (although, I can honestly say that I've not seen a SINGLE KR... not one... on the lots around here -- and I think I've only seen three on the road).

E fans are great for light duty work (IE driving around in a car of 1/2 ton unloaded). E fans don't have the ability to draw the volume of air that a clutch fan can.

Interesting! I've never heard this point before. Aren't fans of almost any design almost unneeded at highway speeds? Aren't they of most use when the vehicle is stopped in hot weather with the engine running and the A/C on? And, isn't this exactly when the clutch driven fan is at it's worst, since the engine speed is so low?

I'm not trying to start a fight here, and you may well be right - but I'd like to hear some counterarguments to the points I made.

(And, I don't have e-fans, but I've been thinking about installing a dual fan setup. The one thing that worries me is the additional pull on my 130 amp alternator, when I'm pulling my trailer with its two batteries and refrigerator, especially at night.)

yes any fan mechanical or electrical isnt needed after 40-45 mph under normal conditions. Biggest gain is highway MPGs. I expect the 2010s to get another 1 or maybe 2mpg rating on the highway, taking us even further above the "competition"
