Thank you for this post. I've had my truck ~4 years and did not know that I had power folding mirrors until today.

 

I have a 2007 f150 king ranch. This thread fixed my issue. My mirrors were not making any sound and I followed this thread. It worked out for me and fixed my issue.

My mirrors were very loose and folding in the wind while driving down the road. I didn’t believe that this would help that, but gave it a shot. Not only did this provide support to my mirrors when driving, it fixed my power folding mirrors to be operational.

the part number list above also applies in finding a replacement part at your local advance auto. At first, I attempted to find a replacement module via the part number on the actual part itself, but it yielded no results... however, using the part number above resulted in locating a replacement.

After reviewing the thread I am still a bit confused over which pins on the mirror switch to test for continuity and when for the fold in and fold out functions. Thanks for the great forum and info.
