Should I take this deal?

I went by the local ford dealer Monday on my lunch break and was looking at an 08 KR MSRP: $42,300. Wasn't too interested in it because it's black and I was looking for white. Before I could leave a sales man stopped me and asked if he could have my name and number. I agreed and gave him my info. He called me yesterday and said they had marked that truck down to "Around 29,000" so I assume 29,999 but he didn't say exactly. So if you add the $7500 in rebates to that it puts them coming off the sticker about $4800. Is that about the norm? I have a car to trade so I figure whoever I deal with is going to try and work me over on it. I guess when I first heard marked down to 29k I got excited and was ready to jump but the more I think about it the more I wonder if it's a good deal. I also keep thinking I should wait and see what Ford offers next month because I know of about 10 KR within 25 miles of my house. But I also wonder if Ford has anything left to offer?

Based on what I have heard around here, I would think you could get it for about $28,300 to $28,500. So, if it's $29,000, not that far off.
