door handles
just my opinion, but I dont like how the door handles are the same color as the rest of the truck, thats all I ever seen on the new king ranchs, i got black ones on my 06 copper king ranch and it just helps the looks of the truck i think. maybe i just have not seen enough new ones around but if i ever get a new one I want my door handles black.
I think I'm sorta with you on this one, racin. I thought I liked them when I first saw them, but then, they became, "dull".
Somehow, my tired old eyes want a bit of contrast along the sides of our trucks. The handles give that contrast to me.

Mine are the same color as my truck and I would never think of changing them. To me it makes the truck flow better. I have the stone green and still think black handles would just look out of place.
I have the black door and tailgate handles on my truck. I would absolutely prefer having them painted the same color as the body. It is a royal PITA to wipe on a good plastic product (Just Once) onto those handles without getting it on the paint. If they were painted, I could just wax them like the rest of the painted panels on the truck.
Now, I could use a water based product, like Adam's VRT on the plastic, but those products just wash right off if it rains or the next time I wash the truck. After it rains, those water based products leave streaks on the painted metal, another PITA to wipe off. I am still waiting for someone to come out with a good plastic dressing that lasts through a hard rain and is easy to apply. Not holding my breath though.
