Seat help
So the other day I tried the "spa treatment" a little to see what it would do. It did a little, I should probably use hotter water and do it a bit more, but after applying the conditioner to my seats and wheel I don't know what happened. The wheel and center console feel dry to me just where I did the spa treatment. The seats look great but am going to try the leather CPR once or twice and use the conditioner I bought again, its the duragloss leather conditioner. Here are some pictures of the seats before and one of them after, sorry the one after is from my phone.
Here is what they looked like before the conditioning.

Here is after.

This is just after I washed and waxed this weekend. I love the color in the sun. Mine's on the right and my buddy's on the left.

If anyone has any suggestions on the best way to do the "spa treatment" or another way of "bringing back" a little bit of the leather to make it look better I'm open to all advice. If you need more pictures or more information to help me just ask and I'll do my best to get the best information.
Thank you

For a 10 year old truck, I'd say both the truck and the leather is in great shape! Congratulations! I agree, the color of the truck is beautiful. What is it called? (Probably showcases dust just like mine though)
My "experienced" guess about the wheel and the console is that skin oil and acids hurt the finish. I've seen this effect on other leather wheel covers I've made and put on my former cars. It always is MOST noticeable right where I put my hands. The console on my KR looked like yours did too and cleaning it, and the wheel, removed the finish. Once that "smooth", factory finish is gone, a conditioner will not bring it back. It feels like the leather has "opened up".
Everyone on these forums is probably tired of me talking about this by now, but I applied Tandys Satin Shene to the console after cleaning it. It restored the "smoothness" and what's more, seems to protect the leather from sweat and skin oils from a bare arm.
I actually posted pictures in another thread, but everytime I look at them I wish I had spent more time cleaning the console. The problem is that the original finish is still ok in the center of the console and it resisted the mild "darkening" effect of Satin Shene. I'd prefer the effect to be more uniform.
If you search on "satin shene" (notice the spelling is "shene", not "sheen") you should find this thread. You could also look for "super shene", which is what I used on my wheel, before I tried Satin Shene. There's a picture of my wheel as well.

Well, ur profile is outdated. Its either an 06-08 based upon the round fogs. I say 06 or 07, im going with 06 though. stick with the leather cpr. it is great stuff. follow the directions to a T and you should be fine. Ive tried just about every kind of spa treatment and leather cpr works the best. I love the way the king ranches look, and when i get to be an old man and get rid of lifted f150s, i shall buy one. Ask RR and RP for more info on spa treatments for KR's, since I have never worked with this leather. You might try posting in care and detailing as well, they tend to frequent there and you can pick up more advice on the leather. sorry for the long post, and I really love the look of your truck!!!
Duh! no wonder the truck looked so new! (I should really pay more attention to these things). :o
And, in doing the search I just recommended, I've found that any pictures that are posted are "links" to the actual images in PhotoBucket, and, if you delete those.... :o :o Well, I didn't like the one with the Satin Shene applied and the armrest sitting on the counter anyway! Good riddance!
The other pictures are there though. You'll be able to see what I'm talking about.

Thanks for all the help. It is an 06 and I think the color is the dark copper metallic which looks AMAZING in the sunlight. I am going to try the leather CPR tomorrow as I bought 2 of them since they were only $8/each. I will let you know how it goes and post more pics.
